Position Title: Document Processing Clerk
Reports to: Document Processing Team Lead

As a Document Processing clerk, you will be responsible for handling all duties related to triaging, categorizing and attaching incoming documents to clients’ file. Your main duties will entail utilizing decision-making skills to ensure all documents are uploaded to clients’ files timely and accurately. The Document Processing clerk will be trained in Salesforce and is expected to develop a full understanding of all document processing functions and document types for all incoming mail.


Principle Duties and Responsibilities:
• Work from dedicated system queues and PDF files to process incoming documents
• Perform analysis to identify and attach documents electronically to the appropriate client and creditor
• Utilize the technology necessary to match document to client and creditor
• Follow all established procedures and guidelines for document processing
• Accurately categorize and process documents according to type and processing rules
• Actively coordinate with Team Leads to develop ideas on how to improve department functions
• Track documents processed
• Maintain a professional demeanor when interacting with all team members
• Ensure that assigned tasks are completed in timely manner
• Crosstrain in all department functions

Required Skills and Experience
• The employee is expected to be punctual and ready to report to work on a consistent basis
• The employee will be exposed to a fast-paced environment and is expected to be able to adjust accordingly
• Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent
• Advanced computer skills; you would be expected to be proficient at typing.
• The ability to identify various types of documents
• Communication and organizational skills
• Must be timely, coachable and reliable

Physical Requirements
• The employee is regularly required to sit, talk, or hear
• The employee is frequently required to look at a computer screen for extended periods of time
• This is a fulltime position with 8-hour work days and 40-hour work weeks plus overtime as needed
• Must be able to work full-time, onsite in the designated NDR office location
